As part of the Maintenance Team, you will report to the Maintenance and Reliability Manager. Your primary responsibilities will include: • Coordinate preventative, predictive and corrective maintenance to fixed plant in Ammonium Nitrate Complex in the area of Electrical and Instrumentation • Ensuring the plant maintenance is carried out in a manner that achieves operational excellence in terms of safety, efficiency and reliability • Lead and develop a team of six dual trade Electrical and Instrumentation Technicians employed on staff at Yara Pilbara • Develop and support two Electrical and Instrumentation Apprentices within your team • Task and assist with supervision of up to 14 E&I contractors employed through maintenance support contracts • Participate in troubleshooting and problem solving of complex Electrical and Instrumentation jobs • Successfully complete training courses to ensure competency and maintain high level of technical and safety knowledge in your role.
• Minimum of dual trade certified: Certificate IV or Diploma in Electrical Engineering and Certificate IV in Instrumentation • Minimum 5 years supervisory experience in industrial process plants – preferably Petrochemical or Oil and Gas Refining • Minimum 10 years technical experience in industrial process plants – preferably Petrochemical or Oil and Gas Refining • Strong safety ethic and experience working with Risk Assessments and Permit to Work systems • Exposure to a SAP for maintenance work management • Sound teamwork, communication skills and a commitment to quality
